At Strandflickorna, we work daily with the theme of sustainability in all its forms.
We are involved in the following projects, among others:
“Hållbarhetsklivet” – West Sweden Tourist Board – For a sustainable tourism industry in West Sweden
“Hållbarhetsklivet” is based on four core principles:
As little unnecessary environmental impact as possible
Beneficial for both residents and visitors
More visitors at times and places that are not overcrowded
More full-time jobs and more resilient businesses

The Climate Pledge Project – West Sweden Chamber of Commerce
The Climate Pledge is a one-year initiative within the joint effort “Climate 2030 – Västra Götaland transitions,” aimed at small and medium-sized businesses that want to reduce their climate impact.
We at Strandflickorna have committed to the following three pledges:
We will reduce the climate impact from in-house or purchased meal solutions in our operations and reach set targets.
We will reduce food waste from in-house or purchased meal solutions in our operations and reach set targets.
We will implement energy efficiency improvements in our own properties.
