Since Lysekil is surrounded by water, there is always some part that is protected from wind and waves, we can therefore offer this package all year round and in most weather conditions. In really strong winds, the trip goes in protected waters.
In the evening of your arrival day you will be served a delicious two-course dinner in our beautiful restaurant Fröken Fridhem.
The next morning we serve a delicious breakfast buffet.
Depending on the day and time that your guided kayak trip departs, you either check in the day before departure or you arrive at the hotel after your kayak adventure.
Stable kayaks for two persons with comfortable seats allows you to relax and enjoy nature.
The activity takes part every Saturday & Sunday.
The experience key words is “Safety and comfort”. No previous experience is required, but we assume that you can swim 200 m and that you have “normal” health (feel healthy). Families with children, at least 145 cm tall, can participate. The kayak trip is arranged by the company Outdoor West.
The following are included on the kayak trip; Guide, place in shared K2 kayak (stable and comfortable) and drinks.
Duration; 2.5 hours in total (of which paddling 1.5-2 hours). Dry suit is included on cooler days.
The tour usually takes place on Saturdays and Sundays, a guide is included. Of course, you are welcome to book an extra night and experience Lysekil for an entire weekend!
We contact the kayak company Outdoor West to ensure that there is room for you on your selected dates.
A few days before the arrival, you will be contacted by the tour guide to book the exact departure time that best suits your company and current weather, usually starting early in the morning or early afternoon. The trip takes place in small groups.
The activity company reserves the right to decide where the kayak trip takes place depending on the weather and wind. A shorter drive to the starting point may be necessary (= own car required)
Please note: Dinner is served in our bistro restaurant Fröken Fridhem which is located at Strandflickornas Havshotell.
You choose between two starters and two main course. Please let us know if you have any allergies.
The package is only for one day (kayak and dinner) but you can add more nights of accomations including breakfast buffet if you’d like.

During the colder days, a dry suit is included, this is not included during the summer season.
