At the end of the 19th century, physician Carl Curman discovered that Lysekil on Swedenâs west coast was the perfect place for recreation, health, and seaside relaxation. He founded a summer resort and built a beautiful villa for his most distinguished guests.
That same historic villa still welcomes visitors today â offering charming accommodation in Lysekil for everyone: young and old, couples and friends, divers and business travelers, school groups and handball players, conference guests, triathletes, nature lovers, and even nude swimmers. We have a room for everyone!
Our rooms come in different sizes and price ranges. Each room has its own private bathroom, and some even feature a glassed-in porch, sea view, or private balcony.
Our large family rooms are perfect for a seaside holiday with children, with close access to playgrounds, the saltwater aquarium Havets Hus, mini golf, and crab fishing during the summer months.

In our basement, you can prepare your own meals in our fully equipped kitchen. Double doors open directly onto the garden, offering a lovely sea view.
If youâre feeling a bit chilly, you can warm up in our small sauna (You need to reserve time). We offer Free Wi-Fi throughout the entire villa.
In our main building, Strandflickornas Havshotell, located 200 meters away, you can relax in our charming little restaurant Fröken Fridhem â enjoy a drink, a coffee, or a delicious meal from our bistro menu. On warm days, everything tastes even better in the lilac arbor.
